The building housing the former Olympic Shop on Valley Road, which was initially listed for sale at $4,995,000 in November of 2007 with the sale finally closing for $3,140,000 on August 21, 2008, has been undergoing renovations in the last couple of months.
Earlier today the Barista broke the story of the early morning fire at that location. Taking a walk over this afternoon to see what was doing at the site, it was evident that the lights were on and some workers were inside. 
While standing out front to snap this picture a woman approached me and said she was from the architectural firm asked me if I was Jeff from the engineering company. I explained that I was Jeff but not the one she was looking for. When I asked about the fire she told me that yes there had been a fire that started on the roof but that the damage was not that bad soon after that she quickly excused herself.
